Welcome to the Stanly County Concert Band Website
The Stanly County Concert Band is made up of people from the community, local music teachers, Pfeiffer faculty and Pfeiffer students. Anyone with a love of music who plays a band instrument is welcome to be a part of this very talented ensemble. Pfeiffer University supports the ensemble by providing rehearsal space, the use of larger band instruments, and an extensive music library.
The Stanly County Concert Band serves as one of the performance vehicles for Pfeiffer.

We will begin rehearsals for the fall season on Thursday, August 20th , 6:30 pm in the Pfeiffer University Band room. The program will be “An American Musical Road Trip”.
The mission of the Stanly County Concert Band is to provide lifelong participation in music and to enhance the cultural life of Stanly County and the region through free or low cost performances.
Tapestry of America
Our April 30th concert titled Our American Journey in Music was a wonderful success with our commissioned piece, “Tapestry of America” premiering.

How To Join The Stanly County Concert Band
Enjoy this video that was made for our 10th Anniversary year. We are excited about our upcoming 12th year. Come join us!
Join Us!
Those interested must be 18 years or older to be a member and have at least high school experience playing an instrument.
Rehearsals will begin January 9th, at Pfeiffer University in the bandroom.
Spring season rehearsals begin on January 15th.
Rehearsals are Thursday evenings 6:30-8:15 p.m.
